As an attorney, I firmly believe that everyone should have access to a high quality defense regardless of their financial circumstances. That's the only way the system works. My job as a criminal defense lawyer is to provide that, and my work begins with opening and maintaining clear communication with my clients at all times.
Communication starts with listening. I want to know everything I can about you and the crime for which you have been charged. What were the circumstances of your arrest? Was there a search? How did that search take place? Did the police obtain a statement from you? All of it may be very important to your defense.
When you have finished telling me about your situation, I will give you the benefit of my experience and an honest opinion about where you stand. I will not make unrealistic or false promises; I will not sugarcoat unpleasant facts; I will not mislead you.
What I will do is be straight with you from the outset. Regardless of the situation, you have rights and options. I will lay them out for you and explain what they will involve. No person accused of a crime should ever step into a courtroom without knowing beforehand, exactly their rights and options.
Since I am a solo practitioner, you can be assured that an experienced, dedicated, and unyielding attorney will be representing you every step of the way. I am admitted to practice throughout Colorado and before Federal Courts. I am a death penalty qualified attorney who has handled more than two dozen murder cases and represented over 45 homicide defendants.
Whether you have been accused of a white collar crime in Boulder, or need an experienced Jefferson County drug defense lawyer, my experience and knowledge of the Colorado court system is a tremendous asset to have on your side. Contact me at my Denver office today to schedule a free initial consultation to discuss your case.
